Pains of Youth

c2c theatre is thrilled to announce their 6th annual season launch and fundraiser – 4Play5.

This will be an exciting evening of intensely unique theatre. Over the course of 24 hours 4 plays are written, directed, designed, scored and rehearsed for the pleasure of an adventurous audience.

This year the event will be co-hosted by Cathy Jones and Neil Butler and feature 35 of Newfoundland’s most talented women.

Last year’s plays began with “As God is my witness, I swear I saw it up there with my own two eyes.” The two props? A stepladder and a flashlight. In 2006, it was “Why can’t you play by the rules for once?” with dental floss & a journal.

What’s it going to be this year?

This unique and one night only event will also include a silent auction, give aways, a cash bar and a first look at c2c theatres’ 2008-09 season. Tickets are available in advance at the Holy Heart of Mary Box Office (579-4424) but they won’t last long!
